Filarmónica Café, located at Carrer de la Filharmònica, 1 in Altea, offers a cozy atmosphere that invites patrons to relax and enjoy quality food and beverages. The café features a classic decor that evokes a sense of nostalgia, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. Inside, the ambiance is warm and welcoming, with a layout that encourages conversation and connection. Although seating is limited to the interior, the inviting environment compensates for the lack of outdoor options.
Breakfast is a highlight here, with a menu that emphasizes fresh, high-quality ingredients. Guests often rave about the tostada topped with oil, tomato, and serrano ham, which showcases the café's commitment to using premium products. The freshly squeezed orange juice is noted for its sweetness and lack of acidity, complementing the breakfast offerings perfectly. The selection of pastries is extensive, with beautifully presented options that are as delightful to the eye as they are to the palate. The coffee is consistently praised for its quality, making it a reliable choice for those seeking a caffeine boost.
While the café excels in many areas, there are a few minor drawbacks. The absence of bocadillos may disappoint those looking for a more substantial snack, as the menu primarily features paninis. Additionally, the limited seating may require some patience during busy hours. Nevertheless, the attentive staff and the overall quality of the food and drink make Filarmónica Café a noteworthy stop for anyone in Altea looking to enjoy a leisurely meal or a refreshing drink.
A spectacular breakfast of the highest quality in a very pleasant atmosphere with excellent service.

We had a wonderful breakfast. The toast with oil, tomato, and ham (serrano) was spectacular. They use top-quality ingredients, including extra virgin olive oil, raff tomatoes, and high-quality ham. The orange juice was delicious, not acidic at all. The place is elegantly decorated. The owner served us. Thank you so much for the experience!!!

Great place for a decent breakfast. Lovely pan con tomates and sheet pantry. A good cappuccino is a bit of a challenge.

We stoped for an ice cream. Lovely lady serving, lovely ice cream flavour, great time to cool down from the summer heat.

Thank you all for these days. We have been having breakfast for three days as if we were at home, very attentive, quick, never making us wait, always efficient when serving us. A big thank you to (Bepe), as he affectionately told us, for that pleasant conversation we had with him. It is truly appreciated to meet such helpful people like you, who make us feel at home. Highly recommended, we will definitely return. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

It has a nice decoration and you can get plenty of pastries. The coffee is pretty nice and the man who served us was kind. I recommend the Calzone.

We ordered a very cute cortado, a puff pastry with dulce de leche, and a crispy donut. Everything was delicious... there’s a wide variety, cakes, pastries, hot chocolate... on our way down to the beach. A very charming café.

Small place with a large variety of sweet pastries, unfortunately no bocadillos available, only paninis. A second little sad point is that they only have places inside, and no opportunity to sit outside. But coffee was delicious though being super hot, and pastries were super yum! Plus, the waitress is super friendly!
