Our Story
TripsQuick was born from a passion for making travel more accessible, authentic, and personal. Our journey started with karpaty.rocks — a platform we built to help people explore the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. We mapped hiking trails, outdoor points of interest, peaks, and natural landmarks across the region, creating an interactive tool that brought the beauty of the Carpathians to a wider audience.
Building karpaty.rocks taught us something important: travelers don't just want a list of places — they want to understand a destination like a local does. They want to know which trail has the best sunrise view, which restaurant serves grandmother's recipes, and which neighborhood feels most alive on a Sunday morning.

We created TripsQuick to bring that same depth and authenticity to cities across Europe and beyond. Every destination on TripsQuick is built with real data from OpenStreetMap, enriched with reviews, photos, and descriptions that capture what makes each place special.

- Real trail data — Our hiking trails come with accurate GPX coordinates, elevation profiles, and difficulty ratings sourced from Waymarked Trails and OpenStreetMap.
- Honest descriptions — No marketing fluff. Our AI-generated descriptions are based on real visitor reviews and verified data, written like advice from a knowledgeable local friend.
- Open data foundation — We build on OpenStreetMap, Overpass API, and open geodata, contributing back to the community that makes it all possible.

TripsQuick helps you discover places to visit, restaurants to eat at, trails to hike, activities to experience, hotels to stay in, healthcare facilities, transport hubs, and local dishes — all organized by city and region, with interactive maps and detailed information.
We started with cities in Spain and Italy, and we're expanding to more destinations across Europe. Each city we add gets the full TripsQuick treatment: thousands of verified points of interest, translated content, and curated recommendations.
