Would be reluctant to return there. There are a number of tables outside the premises. Not entirely obvious what tables belonged to which restaurant. Sat down with wife for a coffee and a beer after a long climb up the hill on a warm day. The waiter came to our table, he told us he could not serve us as we were not ordering food. He told us to find another restaurant. His tables were not exactly busy.

Very disappointing. Typical tourist trap. Wine - Ordered a bottle of Italian Red from the menu, given a bottle of cheap Spanish house wine. No acknowledgment or explanation. When I enquired they said they had run out of the Italian Red. Food - Spaghetti Carbonara. Smallest serving I’ve ever seen. Spaghetti so overcooked it was soft. No offer of black pepper, no bread. Very poor for what could be done so much better.

The Italian restaurant is very nice and has a cozy atmosphere that truly invites you to enjoy the evening. The food was decent, the flavors were right, although the portions seemed a bit small for the price. Additionally, they forgot to bring one of the dishes, and we had to remind them, which delayed dinner a bit. Still, it was clear that the staff was quite overwhelmed since the restaurant was completely full, and that affected the pace of service. Overall, an acceptable experience but one that could be improved.

Upon arrival, we were kindly seated by the gentlemen with a beautiful view of the little church in Altea. Shortly after, they rather insistently tried to take our order, even though we were in no rush – we’re on holiday, after all. We ordered some table water, a bottle of wine, and a few limoncellos to celebrate the evening. The waiters were already very eager to take our food order before we’d even had a sip of wine or made a toast. When we finally ordered our starters and mains, it quickly became clear that the main courses were already being prepared in the kitchen and would follow immediately after the starters. We made it clear that this was not what we wanted and asked for about 15–20 minutes between courses. They agreed – but when the mains arrived, it was obvious they had just been kept warm and reheated. With the main course, we ordered a bottle of red wine, but the cork broke and there were bits of cork floating in the wine. We decided not to mention it, as we wanted to keep the evening pleasant. We eventually sent back one of the pizzas, and when they asked if it should just be reheated, we said no, please make a new one. To our surprise, the replacement pizza was very good. In the end, we paid the bill – over €200 for 4 starters, 4 mains, 2 bottles of wine, and 4 limoncellos – and wished the gentlemen a nice evening. We also read other guests’ reviews and could relate to most of their experiences. We truly hope the team takes this feedback to heart and uses the winter period to work on a more professional structure, so future guests can fully enjoy their evening. It’s an A-location with a great menu and good wines. Gentlemen, please take this seriously and make sure that when we come back next year, it’s back to the high standard it once was.

We had dinner a couple of times because we were craving Italian food and the place is very well located. The service leaves much to be desired; they are always full and do not allow you to sit just for a drink, only for eating or dining. Despite the delay in the dishes, they had a very good flavor and were delicious. The pizza was also very good.

The food was very good and the atmosphere was great. We really enjoyed the experience as it was a relaxing night without much stress. So, we decided to end the night at a pizzeria with an incredible view. Despite the busy time, we were served quickly and well, and even made some small talk. We would definitely return, and we liked the place a lot.

Terrible experience! It's embarrassing that this place is considered a trattoria. We ordered a pizza and a pasta. The pizza seemed like it had a frozen base, nothing like the ones I've tried elsewhere. The pasta was very bland. The service was very poor; we wanted to order wine, and they told us it was better not to order wine because we wouldn't like it, which I didn't understand at all.

I went there 2 days ago and to be honest, it was average. The place is really beautiful with great views, and the staff was nice, but when it comes to the food... There were 7 of us. One person ordered a lasagna that arrived very burnt and dry (attached photo). Then, three of us ordered carbonara, of which only two were brought to us at first (a mistake by the waiter, but that’s okay). We waited almost 20 minutes for the third carbonara, and when it arrived, it was quite different from the other two. The first two were good, but you almost need a glass of milk on the side to eat them because they had so much pepper that it was nearly impossible to eat due to the spiciness. The other one was quite different, with a different texture and flavor, but it’s true that it wasn’t as spicy and was good. Another person ordered a gluten-free bolognese, and the pasta was quite overcooked, to the point that the spaghetti broke. Two other people ordered gnocchi with pesto and pizza, and those were really quite tasty. However, I find it a bit outrageous that they charge you 3 euros for a bottle of "half a liter" that doesn’t even reach that (the label stated its capacity was slightly less than 0.5L). We paid 12 euros for water in total. It came to 16 euros per person, which isn’t bad for the location, but it’s still a bit pricey for the quality of the food.

Very nice place near the sea. Pizza was great, pasta with seafood very good as well and the veal was delicious! We also had a plate of meats for tapas which was enough for three. All in all, enjoyed the experience in this place a lot!
