Bodegas Enrique Mendoza, located at Cami del Romeral, 42, 03580 Romeral, Alicante, Spain, is a noteworthy destination for wine enthusiasts and those curious about the winemaking process. The winery offers guided tours that typically last around two hours, during which visitors explore the vineyard and the facilities. The tour includes insights into the winemaking process, with guides providing detailed explanations and anecdotes that enrich the experience. The setting is visually appealing, featuring large windows that overlook the vineyard and gardens, creating a pleasant atmosphere for both the tour and the subsequent wine tasting.

The tasting room is designed for comfort, allowing participants to enjoy their wines while learning about the characteristics of each variety. Many visitors have noted the quality of the wines, with particular mentions of the Santa Rosa as a standout choice. The combination of well-curated wines and thoughtful pairings enhances the tasting experience, making it informative and enjoyable.
Reservations are recommended to secure a spot, as the winery can be busy, especially during peak seasons. Overall, Bodegas Enrique Mendoza provides a comprehensive look into the world of wine, appealing to both seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers alike.
Fantastic. We had never been to an experience like this before. We loved it. The guide was very friendly, and you can tell she knows her stuff. We also got to talk to the owner, who was very nice as well. We will recommend it.

It was our first tasting there. It lasted about two hours, although it ran a bit longer for us. The first hour was a guided tour of the winery and the vineyards. After that, we moved on to the tasting. It was a room with large windows overlooking the vineyards and the outdoor garden. A table with high chairs. Very beautiful. We tasted 7 wines: one white, one rosé, 4 reds, and one sweet wine. My favorite was the Santa Rosa. Accompanying the wine was a platter of cheeses and cold cuts. Each wine was explained properly by Julián, who also shared many anecdotes and memories from his childhood and about the wines. It was a pleasant and recommendable experience.

I had the opportunity to visit the winery, and I liked several things: the very nice and clean facilities, the variety of wines (many of which I enjoyed), and they also provide a platter of cold cuts to accompany the tasting. I feel that everything was fine, but from my perspective, the beginning of the tour felt like a monologue, somewhat technical and boring. However, the tasting part was better. Here are some photos from the visit.

Always a pleasure to come back to this iconic vineyard. The premium visit is amazing, 7 wines including the amazing Santa Rosa, a delicious to Enrique's mum.

We took the 2 hour tour and tasting. Lots of information, very well guided tour and great wines with a selection of tapas selected for each wine. Very beautiful place. You can buy their wines from their shop. Please make sure to make a reservation. We didn’t know this, but luckily there was room for us by chance 👍🏻

We joined the longer wine tasting tour and the overall experience was very good. Very clean and well arranged. A lot of information in the guided tour. The only downside was the ambient sounds that prevented us from taking part of all the details of the tour. If you are planning to be in the area, make sure to make a reservation to secure a spot. Highly recommended!

We very much enjoyed our tour and tasting today. Our guide, Amanda, was knowledgeable and personable. The tasting was one of the best I've been to, and the entire 2 hours far exceeded our expectations.

It was truly a great surprise. A beautiful setting, exceptional treatment from the guide (Julián), a close approach, explaining each process in detail. This is the fourth winery we have visited, and I must say it was very satisfying. The tasting was fantastic, with a variety of wines in a wonderful room, more than we honestly expected. 100% recommendable if you enjoy the world of wine and want to learn more about it.

We have fallen in love with this winery, both the place and the wine, as well as the people who work there. From my first phone contact with Marta and Alicia to the thorough explanation of the experience with Amanda, a fantastic girl. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to any wine lover.
