A Russian Orthodox church in Spain and not just any church. It's an exact replica of a 17th century church from the Arkhangelsk region, built entirely from wood brought from the Ural Mountains. The craftsmen came from Kirov, the golden domes were made in Volgodonsk. Everything was brought from Russia and you can feel it the moment you step inside. The atmosphere is something else. Quiet, warm, and instantly familiar if you grew up with this. For anyone living far from home it genuinely feels like finding a little piece of it back. Many reviews mention a fee but if you're coming to pray and not just to look around it's free, just say so at the door. And honestly even the 2-3 euro tourist fee is nothing for what you get. Ladies need to cover their heads inside, there are scarves available at the entrance. Don't skip this one.

I'm uploading every single photo I took there because I was truly amazed by the wooden works that these people have created. It's a Russian Orthodox church, and you can enter for a small fee of €3. All of its golden details catch the eye, and it's even more impressive to know that the entire structure is made of wood. If you're in the area, it's really a charming visit, and the people who serve you are very friendly.

I know it may not have the value of antiquity, but I found it absolutely stunning. From the beautiful gardens surrounding it to the interior and the architecture, everything was impressive. By the way, all the materials and labor were brought in from Russia. There's an entrance fee of about 4 euros, and it was the first Orthodox church built in Spain. I truly enjoyed my visit.

We stopped to visit the Church, in our way to Altea.The interior decoration are beautiful as well as the exterior areas of the compound. If you have the chance, I would recommend it.
