Now we are talking. The service here was spot on from start to end. The food was outstanding. It was an absolute joy to sit outside enjoying the lovely warm winter evening, whilst having a beautiful glass of wine and watching the people go by. This place was packed with locals and I'm not surprised as to why. The location, food and service was spectacular. We didn't even take pictures because it looked amazing and we just went for it. Each dish was beautiful and super tasty. We will be back and will take pictures next time. Thank you to the team here for making it a great experience for us. El Taco de Pulpo fue espectacular.

We spent a few days in Cartagena and visited three times. The service was outstanding, everyone was very attentive and professional, and also very efficient. The food was delicious; nothing disappointed us. On the first day, we ordered ensaladilla, spectacular patatas bravas, and wonderful homemade croquettes. The next day, we went for lunch and ordered a warm goat cheese salad, some tigres, and huevos rotos. On the third day, we had a brutal bonito salad and iberico pluma. If we return to Cartagena, we will definitely come back.

Lucy is the loveliest most friendly waitress, you could imagine. She helped me to choose typical dishes from the area and I was certainly not disappointed. The food here is amazing and reasonably priced and I highly recommend it. And did I mention that they are dog friendly? That they certainly are!

The dining room has large tables. It took almost an hour to take our order. The girl apologized, saying she had added two more tables. There was also little empathy when we told her it was mainly because of the child, and she replied that there were more children. The croquettes, artichokes, and cod were very good, but the explorers were disappointing. It's great that the child's dish is homemade. However, the cachopo was not well executed. The steak was thick and generally tough to chew. The worst part was that they ran out of ice cream to accompany the desserts, and the price remained the same, even though the waitress communicated this beforehand. There was also no Licor 43 for the Asians. The excuse was that they were going on vacation for a week. I think drinks don't expire, but that's my humble opinion. I hope they improve this and the service because it was one of my favorite restaurants, and it made us look very bad in front of our guests since we were celebrating a birthday, even though we didn't sing in the dining room.

We went to have some tapas after visiting the city, and we really made a great choice. The carrillera croquettes are delicious. The location is unbeatable, right in the historic center of Cartagena. The service was very quick, and we were treated very well. I would return without hesitation.

We stopped to grab a bite to eat. It's a nice, clean place with two floors, very well located. It's not cheap, but what I tried was tasty. I recommend the croquettes; they are very good.

It had been a few years since I last dined at Cartela, and I still think it's a great place where you can't go wrong. The food is delicious, the menu is varied, the service from the waiters is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic, especially on the terrace. We ordered the octopus, the marineras, and the Gambas al ajillo. Personally, I wasn't too fond of the last dish, but the combination of ingredients (each one separately was tasty: it has shrimp, egg, and artichoke) is really a matter of taste. Oh! The bread is also very good; it's served with grated tomato. As for the price, I have no complaints; I think they have good and reasonable prices.

Love this place. While in Cartagena for 3 weeks this year, I visited many times. The various food items on offer was very interesting and the staff were very willing to help with our dreadful use of their language! The red wine was delightful, so good that we have sourced some to take back to France with us. See picture. We had our little dog, Oscar, with us who was nearly always offered water and was allowed to sit under the table while we were eating. A big thank you to all of the staff there.

Before I talk about the food and service let me say that this restaurant probably has the cleanest washrooms in Spain. Good work management team. Seating was fast at 7 PM on a Monday. No reservation was required. A very pleasant English speaking server took our order promptly and with a smile. The salmon salad was great as well as the chicken Ceaser salad. My ribs were very generous and well cooked with a nice sauce. Veal sandwich also very good. I recommend this place.
