The flamed salmon sushi with truffle is really delicious. Overall, the food is quite good. I'm not a fan of the soy sauce they use there, but everything else is fine.

To get straight to the point, I've read a lot of negative reviews (I went straight to the bad ones) and I wonder if we all think we're culinary experts now, running businesses to understand what that entails. 1) Handmade sushi takes time; it's not pre-cooked food. 2) The waitstaff can address some issues that arise during service, but not all, especially those that depend on how picky the customer is. 3) If people find this sushi buffet expensive, they should go to any sushi place where they charge around €15 for 8 pieces and use soy sauce bought from Mercadona. 4) Of course, you can fill up, depending on what you eat and order; order less, and you'll eat less, it's that simple. If you think there's too much rice in the sushi, just order less sushi and try other types of dishes; they have plenty of variety. 5) Price: in Cabo de Palos, any rice dish costs around €17, just for the rice. 6) Cleanliness: we rate some burger joints much worse, where you slip on the greasy floor as soon as you walk in and they’re disgusting. At Kasumi, it's clean, and as for food odors, well, that's part of having a kitchen; if it doesn't smell like food, it might as well be a pharmacy (which usually smells like roses). Finally, I've been going to Kasumi Sushi for years, and I've always left extremely happy. As someone who has worked as a waitress, I've always been respectful of wait times and empathetic towards the work done by everyone from the servers to the cooks to the cashiers. One should consider things a bit before leaving negative reviews, and while there’s always room for improvement, for me, Kasumi Sushi is always a yes. The food is delicious, there's more than enough variety to satisfy everyone, and the portions are generous if you're a big eater. If you're not a big eater, it doesn't matter where you go; there will always be leftover food, unless you go to some Michelin-starred place, where you always leave hungry and your wallet empty. Keep doing what you're doing; you're doing great! And thank you always for your service; I hope this helps future customers.

This is a great sushi buffet for just 20 euros, and you can go back for as much as you want. Drinks are extra, but I highly recommend it.

We always love going there. The food is amazing and overall the service is great. The guys recommend dishes if you ask for help, and they know almost all the numbers on the menu, which is nice. We will keep going and recommending the place.

Not great, all the maki rolls had very sweet sauce on them. They didn't bring any of the Nigri we ordered. Sushi was too much rice and the fish was badly sliced. It's a buffet so I didn't expect much but this was worse than expected.

Very clean but cozy interior. We were 5 people and got attended very fast. They work with a lot of waiters which is good to be on time everywhere. We ordered the buffet -all you can eat- and if you want something extra they serve it to you quite fast. 5stars, but if I have to give a negative point it would be the menulist, it's difficult to know which pictures is which plate. Anyway it was a very good experience!

*****cash only. Why would they expect people to carry this much cash on them? Expect to spend around 100€ for 4 people. I had to go find an atm in a city I did not know. Pleasantly surprised— the food and service were much better than expected. The fish was fresh and you have the option to chose anything on the menu. There’s the fried staples but plenty of healthier options like sashimi. The staff was friendly and our food was served quickly despite a large crowd. Just remember “no salsa” is no sauce or “no especial salsa.” You can also say “no fritos” if you don’t want it fried.

By far the best sushi restaurant in Spain, nay... the world! And to think it's actually a buffet. Just amazing. Great people, great food; an AMAZING experience.
