We were super hungry and honestly not a lot was open. There was only one other table occupied, which should have clued us in. It wasn’t terrible, in fact the cheese meat platter and the pork belly were pretty good. The sandwich and salmon dish were eh. One server was super nice, the others weren’t friendly or attentive at all.

Wow. Terrible. We asked for the big breakfast and we’re served with this. Uncooked “sausage” which was essentially hotdogs (again, looked like a raw hotdog), we asked for scrambled eggs and look like they fried an egg in the microwave. When we went to communicate our obviously and fair disappointment they said it looked like the photo which it did not. Highly don’t recommend.

Lovely service, waiters were amazing, the food was delicious, don't understand their overall rating, luckily we haven't looked at it in advance just went in from the street, had a lovely evening. Their 25€ menu is insanely good!

All food is fresh. I recommend to order a platter of local ham and sausages first. Then we ordered chicken in tomato sauce and pork tenderloin in whisky sauce. Tortilla de patatas is a must too. Very friendly staff speaking English. Menu available in English

There were many of us, and we had toasts. Literally just plain sandwich bread with inedible ham that was chewy and poorly sliced. Almost 7 euros per toast, and we left half of the plates untouched. The quality was extremely low, and the prices were very high.

Great place. Excellent combination of flavors. The waiter made sure all the time if everything was okay, which was really nice. Thank you for a great experience and tasting traditional cuisine. I don't understand some of the bad reviews about this place at all.

A good spot for a beer and some snacks. Let me tell you👇 Food: I wouldn't say this is a place for a proper meal, at least not for certain dishes. You can't expect top-notch quality, but the charcuterie board is decent for a quick bite. Or some simple patatas bravas. The salmon toast is drenched in oil. They should pay more attention to the details. It's a bit pricey for the quality, but it's located in the city center. Atmosphere: just another terrace in Castaños. This area is always lively, yet I never understood why this place doesn't attract more people. The beer is the same as in other places 😂 Service: the waitstaff is very attentive. I’d even say they can be a bit pushy, asking several times if you want to order more once you finish. Still, for a beer and some bravas, it's not a bad spot.

The food was quite bad, to say the least. The focaccias were of very poor quality, with a ham that had zero quality and very little quantity (not even the one from Mercadona for 1 euro) and 40 slices of tomato. Another one we ordered came with a piece of cheese and the loin was terrible and very tough. The girl came over to ask how we were doing, and when we honestly told her that it wasn't good and that the cloth they used to clean the table smelled bad and that we hadn't even been given a sad plate to put the food on... To top it off, the waitress came back and brought us another cloth (because we saw how they were joking around among the waiters) and put it in our face, telling us to smell it. We replied that we didn't want to, and she said if we were trying to make them look like pigs. In summary, the professionalism from the staff was zero and the food was quite bad... definitely not recommended.

Before writing the review, I like to see what other people have written. Honestly, I don't agree with some of the things I've read. The food is delicious in flavor, but it's true that the portions are a bit small for the price. The drinks were nice and cold. The waiters were charming, especially a Latino guy who makes you want to sit down and chat for a while. It's not a super wonderful place nor exclusive food, but the food is good. If I'm in the area, I might come back.

The experience was disappointing. Not because it was inherently bad, but due to the overall quality of the dishes. We wanted to have a beer and a small tapa since we weren't hungry. Once inside, we saw that the tapas were very expensive and served in small portions. So we ordered larger portions. A toast with salmon and cheese, which was literally just bread with salmon and cheese, lacking any flair. And a focaccia that wasn't really a focaccia, but rather a sandwich with very well-cooked ham, caramelized onions, and more cheese. A bit dry. The beef stew with whisky was quite good, but that was the only thing worth mentioning. The bill came to 30 euros for two beers. Very expensive and left a bad impression. The waiters were very friendly, and the place was well-located. Plus, it was pleasantly cool.
