Delicious tapas selection! We ordered five different dishes and every single one was incredibly tasty. It was definitely worth waiting a few minutes for a table. What made our experience even more special was our waitress, Janet. She was welcoming, attentive from the first moment, also very patient and helpful while we were deciding which tapas to order.

We tried the rice with chicken and vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent as well. Just keep in mind that it gets quite busy, so be prepared to wait for a table.

On our last evening in Alicante, we decided to visit La Tasca Del Barrio. Now we understand why it's worth waiting for a table at your restaurant! The tapas were delicious, the portions perfect, and the wine excellent. The service was amazing! The atmosphere was very friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Alicante (and this time we'll book a table! ☺️). Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This is one of those places that doesn’t try to impress, and that’s exactly why it succeeds. We arrived with no expectations and left feeling happy and satisfied. Tatiana and Daniela provided us with wonderful service: warm, genuine, and with that kind of attention that feels effortless. The mixed rice was delicious, perfectly cooked, and served at a relaxed pace. You can really tell when the rice is treated with respect. Plus, the value for money is fantastic. Tip: order a bottle of wine and some snacks while you wait for the rice. Without a doubt, a favorite in Alicante.

I highly recommend this place. I was craving rice, so it was perfect for us. The venue strikes a great balance between a cool atmosphere and good prices. We ordered octopus and Andalusian calamari as starters, and the black rice I loved as a main dish was delicious. The service from all the staff, especially Tatiana, was excellent. Thank you very much. I will definitely return when I come back to Alicante.

We had an incredible meal yesterday, Thursday. The black rice was spectacular, the waitresses were super quick, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it. We will definitely come back.

This restaurant is a true little gem for mediterrenean cuisine. The staff is super friendly and the lunch was excellent. We had octopus with vegetables and fried prawns for starters and risotto with black rice, shrimp and octopus for the main dish. Both were superb. The Bailey's panacota for dessert was awesome. Must visit if you are in Alicante!

What an absolute gem! We wandered for over an hour looking at bars and restaurants but nothing was really catching our eye. Then a sign appears in the form of a Christmas decoration in the window and we had the same at home. Our minds were made up. We had to sit outside as the restaurant was full and although it was a chilly January evening the waiter brought us blankets and the heater was on full. After we ordered a couple of glasses of wine we decided to eat. Each course was just as good as the last! The service was attentive but not pushy, we had street entertainment and a gin and tonic to match my father’s (in size)! We would highly recommend and especially the meatballs in Pedro ximinez sauce! To die for. Thank you so much to a wonderful team and for a fantastic birthday dinner!

Excellent food. We ordered rice dishes, including the creamy black rice with octopus and meat, which was top-notch. The service was outstanding, especially from Margarita, who took care of us.

Fortunately, we made a reservation, so we were able to get in right away. There were already many people waiting even before the restaurant opened, so I highly recommend making a reservation before coming here. As for the food, everything was excellent. The paella was delicious, and the octopus salad and croquettes before the main were great as well. The sangria was good too. We couldn’t order much since we had a late lunch, but if we had been hungrier, I would’ve loved to try more dishes. If I ever come back to Alicante, I’d definitely visit again!
