Alicante has few high-end restaurants. Maestral is great without exorbitant prices. Pleasant to eat dinner outside even in January

A lovely chalet with a garden. On the fly, we ordered a spectacular arroz abanda with cuttlefish and shrimp. Creamy and full of flavor. We also ordered cocochas al pil pil, a salmon salad (recommended), and a national squid prepared Andalusian style, which was delicious! The service was top-notch. I would definitely return.

The Maestral restaurant is a wonderful place. Everything is very beautiful, the food is delicious, and everything is organized perfectly. The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy, ideal for enjoying a special experience. I want to especially highlight the attention we received from Rima, the girl in charge of events at this restaurant. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication made everything even better. Rima works incredibly well and shows herself to be very responsible. I recommend Maestral without hesitation, especially if you are looking for a place with impeccable service and a charming environment.

My partner and I ordered the tasting menu (€55 plus drinks). As an appetizer, we were served a small glass, which I understand changes frequently or according to the menu. The first dish was octopus salad, which was personally my favorite. The ceviche was incredible, and the foam surprised me quite a bit. I'm not a big fan of foie, but it was smooth and paired well with the jam, especially with the bread that I think had a bit of alcohol in it (a bit strong and it masked the flavor of the pâté). The parmentier was fine, but it didn't wow me. The fish had an amazing flavor, although I felt the sauce overshadowed the taste of the fish. The stuffed meat was both crispy and tender at the same time... very good. They served us a lemon sorbet (I think) with a bit of alcohol to cleanse the palate, and lastly, the cheesecake was delicious, but I liked the green apple ice cream even more. The place is beautiful, outdoors and filled with lights. If you ask for mosquito repellent, they give you a little bottle. It’s peaceful and very romantic. At first, the staff seemed a bit lost when there were few people, but as the place started to fill up, they became more dynamic. I particularly liked that a waiter with glasses explained each dish as he brought it to me (which is what I expect from a tasting menu). This is all from my perspective. Thank you!

Without a doubt, I will return. A spectacular place with many rooms decorated in detail and a beautiful garden. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes. We ordered several appetizers, highlighting the homemade foie and the octopus, a delight; two meats (ribeye and perfectly cooked tenderloin) and turbot. Finally, we had three homemade desserts (cheesecake with a citrus touch that I personally loved, an orange crepe, and a torrija with turrón ice cream). The staff was very attentive, polite, and friendly at all times, a service deserving a 10.

Absolutely fantastic place with lovely surroundings and great food. This out of the way restaurant is really worth the short taxi ride out of the city center. The garden is an oasis, with plenty of seating outside. Their rice dishes are spectacular, as well as all other menu items I've tested the three times I've been there. Highly recommended!
