I have been coming to this restaurant for years and everything has always been fabulous. But now they have put the cherry on top: we came to eat with five workers and to start with, the daily menu was super expensive at €17. Furthermore, we ordered some grilled sandwiches and to our surprise, they made them on the griddle. I told the waiter that we ordered them grilled since we came from Cartagena specifically for that, and on top of that, the waiter took it badly when I pointed it out, even though the mistake was his. Overall, a disastrous service, we will not be coming back. It’s a shame to charge €17 for a menu to workers, no wonder it’s empty. Sandwich €4.20, Coca-Cola €2.60, and café bombón €1.80. WE WON'T BE BACK.

One of the best places to eat when you want traditional food. We were served by Antonio, who was a delight, one of those waiters that are hard to find these days: professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Without a doubt, it’s a place you always want to return to. I recommend the roast lamb and the ham croquettes, an absolute delight.

I visited the restaurant La Venta El Abasto, located on the way to Cartagena, and the experience was very positive. From the very beginning, the service was excellent, especially from Antonio, who attended to us with warmth, professionalism, and a very pleasant demeanor throughout the meal. The grilled food is spectacular, with well-prepared dishes served at just the right temperature, complemented by prompt and attentive table service. As a nice touch, the shots of liquor were truly enjoyable, providing a perfect ending to the meal. The atmosphere is very welcoming, suitable for both adults and families. There’s a terrace, an indoor area, and a bouncy castle for the kids, making it an ideal spot for families with little ones who still want a great dining experience. There's also dirt parking right next to the restaurant, which makes access very convenient. One thing to keep in mind is that the restroom is unisex, which is good to know before you go. Overall, it’s a highly recommended experience for its quality, service, and ambiance. Without a doubt, it’s a place worth revisiting.

I've known this place for over 20 years, and it always feels like the first time 😀 with the same quality, quantity, and at a very low price. It's a pleasure to eat there; when I'm in Spain, I do everything I can to eat there as much as possible...... The meats are like sweets 🤗

A classic menu featuring local products, generous portions at a fair price. Antonio's warm hospitality makes you feel at home, the lamb roast on Thursdays is delicious, and it's the best flan you'll ever have.

Been dining here for 18 years and it's always been excellent food. It's very Spanish and it's not expensive. The house wine is a la Campo but it's good. Booking advisable but early doors should be OK Menu del día served from 13.00
