It's one of the best places in Cartagena to eat or dine. Without a doubt, it's a very, very, very good option for those looking for a balance between quality and price. It's highly recommended to make a reservation in advance. It's not cheap, but it's not excessive either. The products and raw materials are of top quality. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. Interestingly, there is no coverage at the back of the restaurant and the WiFi signal barely reaches, so if you need to keep an eye on your phone, be aware of that. Definitely a place to return to.

The service was outstanding, from the moment we made the reservation until we left. We sat at a table, but when I saw that showcase with tapas, I would have preferred to stay at the bar trying everything... haha, it all looked so delicious. I didn’t have time to take photos because we were almost fainting from hunger. We ordered grilled squid and eggs with potatoes and gulas. The squid was very fresh, and the potatoes were too. It was a recommendation from the hotel. By the way, we had a small dog with us, and there were no issues. If I had to point out one small downside, it would be the slightly high noise level. We are sales representatives and happened to park in front of Cartagena, where we went in and were offered a high table. A big surprise was the sobrasada and the very tasty bread on the table. The menu was well thought out and comprehensive. We shared a salad, and my colleague ordered the boquerones al ajillo, while I chose the dish of the day, potatoes with tuna and cod, and I made a perfect choice – it was exquisite. The service was excellent, attentive, and super professional, and after 15 minutes, the place was full. A great surprise, and I highly recommend it; we will definitely return. The bill was 53 euros, including beer and coffee.

What a delightful little restaurant. Very homely feeling and welcoming with a warm ambience and friendly staff. We were able to cross the language barrier without too much trouble and the help of a translator app. Staff were patient with us and explained the menu. Food was home cooked style, fresh and delicious with generous servings. See you again Tio Andrés & Cartagena.

What a fantastic find. The food here is truly out of this world, every dish tastes home-cooked, full of flavour, and made with real care. You can tell immediately that this is proper, honest cooking rather than anything rushed or mass-produced. The tapas are generous, beautifully prepared, and perfect for sharing, although you may not want to. On top of that, the value for money is exceptional. It is rare to eat this well, leave completely satisfied, and still feel you have had a great deal. A relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, and genuine quality throughout. We will definitely be back, and it is a place we will happily recommend to friends and family.

We made a reservation for our meal. Although it's a bit far from the center, it's definitely worth the trip. When we sat down at the table, we were greeted with bread (€1.52 per person) and sobrasada to spread, which was a lovely touch. We also tried the marineras (€2.50 each) and the carabinero croquettes (€2.50 each), both were delicious and very creamy. The Andalusian-style calamari were outstanding; it had been a long time since we had such good ones (€14.50). A special mention goes to the broken eggs with ham (€12), which were very juicy and tasty. The only dish we didn't enjoy was the grilled octopus leg (€22), as it was too soft and the sauce had a strange taste. We also loved the artichokes with pancetta (€14), an exceptional dish. To finish, we shared a cheesecake (€5.50) and tiramisu (€5). I highly recommend this place; we had a fantastic meal for just over €20 per person. Congratulations on your work, product, and service.

A wonderful local place. We had grilled octopus, warmed goat cheese with tomato, and a grilled Iberian pork shoulder. With beers, cava, bread with sobrasada to start, this was a fabulous meal. Would visit again in a heartbeat and worth every penny.

We (a family of 4) visited in the evening for a dinner on Wednesday evening. We booked a table at 20:00 a couple hours beforehand. At that time the restaurant is quite empty but gets busy by 20:30-21:00. Overall, a great experience. We tried a lot of different tapas. The meatballs were absolutely amazing, as were the anchovies, squid and more. The service was fast and very friendly. We had a great time.
