Deceptively large restaurant, that was quiet at first but rapidly filled around 7:30pm. Staff attentive and friendly. Rack of Lamb was tastiest and tenderest I have had, but if you like veg perhaps order a side. "Deconstructed" Asiatico dessert was fantastic especially if you like coffee. Very reasonable prices. My first visit to Spain and this was the first restaurant we visited. Overall the atmosphere was nice , I liked the decorations and the vibes. The women who greeted us knew English so it was a great first impression. We had 3 different Servers the whole night , we had some communication problems with the first one , but he did his best. He said that they didn’t have a menu for drinks/beers etc that we got later in the evening by the other server who could communicate a little easier in English. No problem , it’s not easy to understand everything when you have a language barrier. The food was okay , I got the salmon , but I’ve tasted better salmon dishes before. The drinks were good, but a little strong so I asked to “blend it” , no problem . I loved the cheesecake so I can definitely recommend that one. Overall we had a good time but some communication problems and sad that we didn’t get a drink menu earlier. In totalt we payed 99 euros , and sadly it wasn’t worth it. Fun first experience tho :)

An amazing dinner for two at La Tropical in Los Alcázares. We tried the tuna salad, seasonal mushrooms, and an incredible entrecôte, all with a flavor and quality of 10. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed evening, and the service was simply impeccable, attentive and professional at all times. Without a doubt, a place to revisit and recommend if you want to enjoy a special evening by the Mar Menor.

Happy to find LaTropical back to being one of the finest restaurants on the area. Our 38th wedding anniversary and our return visit since almost 2 years ago, when we thought their standards had slipped. The makings of memorable restaurants, for us, include first iimpressions, meet and greet, qualty and presentation of the food, service , an interesting wine list and, of course, how good the food is to eat. On all of these, 5⭐, however, since our coffees went walk about I have had to drop 1 starnfrom the service. La Tropical has aways producedd tapas of the highest quality, and here the salmons rolls and Murcian salad are exceptional. Main courses of solomio and rack of lamb, favourably comparable with the best New Zealand or Welsh lamb were perfectly cooked being tender and oozing quality. A new bodega for us, a Monastrell from Jumilla, beautifully complimented the meal, which was rounded off by coffee - once it had been located! A mmenorably wonderful evening.

I was recommended this place, and it turned out to be a great decision—product-focused cuisine with creative touches, a nice atmosphere (the music was a bit too loud), and excellent service. We tried the marineras with red tuna, langoustine tartare with sobrasada, red prawn croquettes, Angus beef, and salmon with beetroot cream. We will definitely return! And I will recommend it to friends and other members of the Alicante Academy of Gastronomy.

We went to have lunch as a group on New Year's Eve at noon. The place was packed, but the service was still very friendly, quick, and efficient. We really enjoyed the food. We shared tapas: shrimp croquettes, full of flavor and very juicy; a marinera that was finger-licking good; Andalusian calamari; arugula salad with parmesan and patatas bravas. We tried four desserts: the cheesecake, which was delicious and served with a strong strawberry ice cream; the thyme ice cream with pear, which I found very original; the chocolate dessert, perfect for cocoa lovers, and the panna cotta. Highlights include the croquettes, the marinera, the cheesecake, and the thyme ice cream. We will return!

I had the opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant La Tropical, located in Los Alcázares (Murcia), and the experience was very positive. The quality of the dishes and the good service stand out. In my case, I arrived without a reservation, and yet they assigned me a high table by the bar without any inconvenience. The waiting time was reasonable, and the service was efficient. The food was of good quality, with careful preparation and well-balanced flavors. As a special recommendation, the torrija is a dessert worth trying. Without a doubt, I will return to try other varieties from the menu and continue enjoying their culinary offerings.

We went for a company dinner, and I want to highlight the ham and parmesan croquettes for their creaminess and flavor; the other starters were all very good. The famous Txuleta frisona had a slightly more intense meat flavor than usual, which I personally enjoyed; it was tender and juicy. Classic desserts to satisfy a sweet craving, accompanied by a refreshing ice cream. The service and patience of the waiters were excellent with a group of 16 people. Thank you very much, and we will be back!

Our host who lived locally ordered for us and it was a real treat. Each course was shared between 4. The ceviche with corn and lime sorbet was amazing; all the dishes were very good - ceviche, tomatoes & anchovies, octopus, artichokes with ham and the turbot. The whole turbot was prepared at the table and was very good. Definitely a place to visit again.
