The waiter was very nice, but he had to face the music when they clearly served him squid (and if that is octopus, I would like to know who expects this when ordering octopus) in the dish PULPO A LA CARTAGENERA for almost €20. Everyone can look at the photos and judge for themselves or check on Google if this is really octopus... I won't be coming back. The head chef was inside and didn't even bother to come out; she sent the waiter to deal with the mess.

Nice place that you don’t have to wait until 8:00 PM to eat because we were hungry. Patatas bravas had a nice not so spicy red sauce. Salad was very well vinaigrettes. First paella I’ve had in Spain and it was pretty good. Large skillet for two so couldn’t finish it. Had the mixta with chicken and seafood. Price was not bad either. 50-60 euro with two beers and bottled water.

Review regarding the MENU OF THE DAY. If you want to save money, this menu is fine, and you won't leave hungry. An interesting option. The service and dishes are acceptable, especially considering the price of the menu and the location right in the center, the atmosphere, etc. It's a good choice. I don't give it 4 stars because the desserts included in the daily menu (theoretically homemade) did not meet expectations.

Nice place! We had dinner at this tapas restaurant! The variety of tapas was perhaps a bit limited! We ordered several starters, including the Pulpo a la cartagenera, which was recommended to us by the waiter, who was very knowledgeable about the menu! The octopus is delicious, and the calamari are crispy! The croquettes and montaditos were quite good!

Everything we ate was good. I would highlight that the octopus was very tender and it was the best thing we ordered, but it doesn’t taste like truffle or at least it’s not noticeable. The combination of artichoke with parmesan cheese was great. The best value here for filling your belly with fish at a lower price are the tentacles. We ordered what you see in the photos and also two or three tentacles with aioli. We spent 50 euros, without wine, of course. You definitely need to make a reservation here!

We started with the Roman-style calamari and prawn croquettas. Love better for the croquettas are really crunchy. But calamari gotta say maybe too dry even with the lime. Little sauce on the side may balance a bit though. The beef was fine and well seasoned French fries. I took the la taranta burger, the burger bun itself is nice and chewy. However, the beef patty is salty. Overall is fine, the staff is welcoming.
