If you're looking for a restaurant that will look pretty on Instagram, this may not be for you. But if you're a food lover, looking for delightful local flavors, you're in the right place. The three of us ordered way too much food, but enjoyed every bite. Favorites included the foie, artichokes, and Cartagena style octopus. If you're looking at the desserts and wondering what crispy fried milk is, just order it, it was lovely. Absolutely recommend this restaurant. A smidge over €100, but included a bottle of wine, water, and coffee. And, as I mentioned, lots of dishes, 7 I think 🙈 in total.

A highly recommended place to eat in the center of Cartagena, just as its name suggests, next to the Termas, both for its menu and its skewers. The food has a "homemade" flavor, and the highlight was the friendliness of our waiter, J Manuel, who deserves a 10 in every aspect. We were very well served!!! The seafood tapa was also very delicious. Menu for 16 euros with salad and a drink. I will be back!

We arrived to eat without a reservation and were given a table in the indoor dining area. The food was good, the bread was exquisite, and we ordered a croquette that was quite tasty and creamy. A generous salad with plenty of ingredients was very delicious. The artichokes were different from the usual confit ones; these were grilled and well-balanced in flavor, making them quite tasty. For the main course, we ordered cheeks, which were very tender and the meat was delicious, but in my opinion, there was too much sauce and the deep plate was a bit uncomfortable. The potatoes that came as a side in sauce were quite bland; I would have preferred fries. The sea bass was good and the portion was quite generous. The waiters were friendly and competent, and I recommend it for the quality-price ratio.

We've visited this place several times, and the service has always been excellent. However, during our first visit, we had some shrimp croquettes that were quite good. Today, we went back and asked about the shrimp croquettes before sitting down, and they confirmed they had them. Instead, we were served some dry, terrible croquettes that had a bitter taste. They charged us €2.50 each and insisted they were shrimp until one of the waiters finally had the decency to admit they weren't. To deceive customers with something of such poor quality and then charge for it? There was no one responsible in the establishment to address this. We won't be returning, and I do not recommend it.

This is a fantastic quality restaurant located in the heart of Cartagena, just a stone's throw from the Town Hall, museum, and city walls. It's a grill house where we enjoyed a meal and were treated with professionalism. I highly recommend the Tomate Aladroque as a starter. They cook the meat to perfection based on your preference; I ordered the Entrecot de aliste, which was excellent. The Bacalao gratinado with garlic mashed potatoes was delicious, and the Crema Catalana was homemade, just as it should be in this type of restaurant. We lingered a bit after our meal, and they continued to serve us with smiles on their faces. We will definitely return, thank you.

Great place to try the local cuisine and a great value. The service was phenomenal a the portions for a Tapas restaurant was very large. Great people watching and I added a photo of the greatest liquor ever. Sip it as is or coffee or ice cream or whatever you can find.

It was recommended to us, and I must express my gratitude because we enjoyed a delicious dinner. We ordered a pulpo a la cartagenera (delicious with a hint of acidity), grilled artichokes, and a tomato salad from Cartagena, which far exceeded our expectations. I also want to highlight the impeccable service we received from the staff, who advised us very well at all times. The price was very reasonable considering the quality of the dinner. Highly recommended.

Massive place, with the kind of impersonal, mediocre food and service you expect catering to crowds. The good: I was seated quickly with little wait. All the servers looked rushed off their feet, which is fair enough for the venue I guess. Matrimonio (standard Murcia tapa) was decent enough. Scallop with kimchi was nicely cooked but suffocated in salty kimchi mayo twice the size of the scallop - scrape most of it off and it was decent. Pulpo (not the Cartegena style which was sold out) was passable but too salty and a bit dried out. I don’t know if this the standard for Cartagena but pretty mediocre-bad compared to the places (even very busy ones) in Murcia city where you can taste the quality of the ingredients from the region.

We have just enjoyed a really excellent Menu del Dia here. Generous portions, well cooked and very tasty. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. Everything you hope for in Spain. And all at a very reasonable price. Another highlight of our visit to Cartagena. We’ll be back!

I tried couple of their tapas, like the octopus, the fried duck, the squid, the croquettes, the stuffed pepper, the artichokes and 1 main course which is the fried cod. Calamar a la Andaluza or the Andalusian squid best one along with the croquettes. It is perfectly salty, deep fried perfection. The Crujiente de pato aka crispy duck is indeed crispy and good but just intensely sweet, like super crunchy with sticky sweet, it is a bit confusing. The Alcachofas a la plancha con aceite de trufa , jamón y parmesano aka Grilled artichokes with truffle oil, ham and parmesan cheese is a seasonal product which I am not a big fan of becauseit's a bit sour? The Pulpo a la Cartagenera aka Cartagenera style octopus is fine, not too soft but not too chewy, it looked small but actually you got a good amount of meat in there. The Tacos de bacalao frito con cebolla confitada, piñones y peras al vino aka Fried cod cubes with glazed onion, pine nuts and pears in wine is fried to perfection and the fish is so flaky and not fishy at all, the batter is a little bit too salty to my liking, but the onion that comes with it is suuuuper sweet and I don't think they goes well together. Pimientos rellenos de rabo de novillo con salsa de hongos y foie aka Peppers stuffed with young bull tail with mushrooms and foie sauce is actually soo good and creamy, but I wasn't a big fan of goat cheese so I really didn't like this one, but if you enjoy goat cheese than I do recommend getting it. The menus are digital with QR scan, and they have English menu so that's very helpful. The waiter wasn't the most friendly but he is quite helpful.
