I was pleasantly surprised by this bar. They serve tapas here. The tapas are very tasty, featuring typical dishes from Cartagena like octopus, artichokes, and other local specialties. It's highly recommended for the quality and price. The decor is vintage, and the atmosphere is calm, making it a great spot for a leisurely meal with local products. Everything was delicious.

This legendary bar in Cartagena has a charmingly old-fashioned interior, beautiful lighting, and a great location. Their specialty, the octopus a la cartagenera, is simply outstanding. I've never tasted octopus that was better prepared or more flavorful than this. However, what truly amazed us was the beef tenderloin and foie montadito; it melted in our mouths, and the homemade potatoes that came with it were incredible. The prices are unbeatable for the quality you receive, making it an excellent spot for enjoying tapas.

A traditional tapas bar. The croquettes are good, the flamenquín is very tasty, the montaditos are excellent, and the torrija is huge, although it has too much sugar on top. I wouldn't order the Peking duck. We'll be back.

A restaurant with tapas and typical dishes. When we arrived, we asked for a table and had to wait half an hour, but since it was Friday night, that’s understandable. Everything was very good and the service was quick.

An informal place for snacking. The portions are varied and generous. The pulpo a la cartagenera is very tasty, and the tosta de sobrasada with egg is a must-order. There’s a variety of montados served with deluxe-style potatoes; my favorite is the Faquineto with egg and chorizo. The Duque with tenderloin and foie is also top-notch. The reparo… you should definitely try it. Friendly waiters and good service. For us, it’s a must-stop when we’re in Cartagena.

Pleasant tapas bar which looks a bit drab by day because of the brown paint but is well decorated inside and is fun outside at night. Lovely service and good traditional tapas and raciones. Less touristy than many. Decent prices.

Spotted this bar on the way into town from the railway station and Jorvic vowed to pop in on the way back. Very atmospheric. Paulicarus on vodka and Fanta lemon. Jorvic sticking to red vermouth. ( love the way the three barrels are stacked with taps connected to the vermouth of your choice) Good service. Decided to try the local coffee speciality..as Asiatico (2.2€) Condensed milk, spirit 43 and cinnamon amongst the ingredients. Very good but one is enough. Spent 12.3€. Excellent value.
