When we asked for cold milk, they gave us dirty looks. While my partner and I were having coffee, we noticed some lamps, all of which were off except for one. We turned it off, and as we were leaving, they treated us like thieves. Seeing that they'd made a mistake, the rude woman didn't even apologize. I don't come to Cartagena often, but now I know where not to go again.

Yesterday evening, on New Year's Eve, as soon as I went out, I went to order my first drink at the bar of this place since it was quite accessible. I asked for "a beer and a bottle of water". I was at the bar waiting to be served, and a gentleman, whom I suspect worked there because he was restocking drinks, treated me like a dog. He said to me in a disdainful tone, "Chss chss, get away from the bar". I was left speechless, and my only reaction was to say, "You can ask in a nicer way". Immediately after, I told the woman who was serving me to please cancel my order and not to bring me either the beer or the water. I certainly won't be coming back. I understand that these are very stressful days and a lot of work; I also work in the hospitality sector, but treating someone like that is unacceptable. I even felt embarrassed by how he spoke to me.

What a terrific bar in a lovely plaza. We arrived early for a pre dinner glass of wine and stayed far longer than planned. Terrific atmosphere. Lots of friendly locals...young and older. Really friendly service and a cracking bottle of house verdejo. It's why I love southern Spain! Try it for yourself 😎

Nice and friendly service. They have some nice seats on the square. We had 2 of the 1807 beers and 3 mollette - basically a bap with some filling with some crisps on the side. For less than €20

In the tapas square of Cartagena, there's this little spot where my favorite beer (Aguila Sin Filtrar) reigns supreme. The music is great, and the atmosphere is lively. With each beer, they serve a small tapa of kicos or a piece of tortilla, which isn't something you find everywhere around here. The place has a really cool vibe, and the waitresses are super friendly and nice!
