A nice place, the service is average, the ingredients are of good quality, but in my opinion, they are not highlighted as they should be... The bill is too high for what we ate.

Seafood restaurant. The quality is excellent. The welcome is incredible (especially thanks to Giulio's great hospitality and professionalism). The restaurant is very well maintained, with a menu and a wine list that features a truly interesting selection. This restaurant is ideal for romantic dinners, but also for small groups. The hours align with freshly prepared food. The price is more than reasonable; in fact, I would say it is low for the quality and location.

"La Taverna del Duca" is an elegant restaurant located in the historic center of the village of Bovino. The ambiance is meticulously designed, the service is impeccable, and the cuisine is top-notch. The restaurant is famous for its seafood, so I chose the spaghetti with yellow datterini tomatoes, sea urchins, and Cantabrian anchovies, followed by salmon en croute with pear sauce. Everything was excellent, including the homemade herbal liqueur (dolce e amaretto) and the amaro.

The elegant restaurant "Taverna del Duca", located in the picturesque village of Bovino nestled in the Dauni mountains, is famous for its seafood specialties. Open since 1991, it stands out for its structure, vaulted ceiling, and stone and brick walls. If I had to recommend dishes, I would suggest the spaghetti with yellow datterini tomato sauce, sea urchins, and Cantabrian anchovies. The cod meatballs are delicious, as is the salmon en croute with pear sauce. Both the desserts and the homemade herbal liqueur, recommended by the excellent "maestro di salami", are outstanding.

Everything was perfect. A beautiful and cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious dishes with fresh fish. The staff was very friendly. Everything exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

We ate the best pizza during our last Italy vacation at this restaurant. The shrimps pasta was excellent as well. A bit fine-dining but with very reasonable prices, especially the Pizze! We can definitely recommend this place if you want to eat out in Bovino.

Wonderful place to have dinner. We enjoyed exquisite and inexpensive meals. Would definitely return. Wood oven pizzas are the highlight of the restaurant.
