We only had breakfast at the b&b, so I’m giving it 4 stars because we didn’t have the chance to try more. The atmosphere deserves 5 stars since the place is magnificent. The pastry shop is superb! The caffelatte and chocolate were nothing special, but I’ll give it 5 stars if it deserves it on our next visit, as the owner was very friendly.

Last night, my wife and I had dinner with our children, and Andrea welcomed us immediately with excellent service, making us feel at home. We ordered a mixed antipasto with many delicious treats, including frisella with candied cherry tomatoes, zucchini flowers stuffed with fresh ricotta, a pancotto meatball filled with vegetables, a mini eggplant parmesan with a slice of cheese, aged cheeses, ravioli filled with burrata and cherry tomatoes, delicious grilled lamb, and tender, flavorful beef braised in red wine, all accompanied by a special bottle of Aglianico di Benevento, perfectly prepared by Luca. We always enjoy Giannotti's, whether at the pastry shop, for the aperitif, or finally at the restaurant. Excellent 💪💪💪

I stumbled upon it by chance. I knew about the wonderful panettone, but I hadn't tried the miniatures or the ice cream yet... I'll have to come back.

There’s a lot to say, but here are the highlights: 1. The quality of the pastries is truly top notch: attention to detail, the flavor and texture, the freshnesss, the options, and they’re beautiful to look at as well. (The gelato flavors are also 👍 Some are classics and some are creative , decadent and well-balanced flavors. The coffee is perfect too.) 2. This is the place to be. At 9am or 10pm, you will find a good portion of the neighborhood sitting outside, strolling by with a greeting, having a gelato, a drink, a chat. It’s hard to be unhappy at Bar Giannotti. 3. The hospitality is what you hope for in any establishment. It’s not fussy or formal. There is warmth and generosity and excellent service as well as good humor (of the respectful variety). 4. In almost a month in Italy we’ve had some lovely pastries, gelato and coffee. Rome, Florence, small towns… none was better than what we had at Bar Giannotti. We ran into a minor problem- we wanted to try more things but the things we tried were so good we wanted to get them again. Forgive the photo, we made a mess of our plate before we remembered to get a pic, but everything was meticulous and the maritozzo was stunning. Just a bit of pastry cream tucked beneath whipped cream of the perfect texture and sweetness… and you won’t get a stale brioche like you might in a big city.

everything is delicious and the owners Luca and jussi are wonderful, very good food inside there is a restaurant, very good desserts, the best bovino restaurant without a doubt
