Historic building, very comfortable, clean, ideal beds, with special attention from Vita to her guests, excellently located just steps from the beach, in the center of the village with parking nearby. Good morning, it was great, the air conditioning was malfunctioning but we were fine with the balcony open. We stayed for two nights, and honestly, the location was fantastic because the beach is just a two-minute walk away and the old town is about 8/10 minutes uphill. There's a public parking nearby that they provide the location for, and there's always space available. It was a very special getaway, and we really had a great time.

Hello Viktoriya, we are the ones from room number 7. I'm writing to you here since you haven't responded to the phone number you gave me for any issues. On the first day, we had no problems with the air conditioning. However, on the second day, around 12:30 AM, we notified you that it wasn't working. I understand that electrical appliances can fail, and that's okay. You came and mentioned that this had happened to you before and that the machine needed to be restarted from the central unit. On the third day, after spending the whole day visiting Altea, we returned tired around 12:30 AM, and once again, the air conditioning wasn't working. We sent you a message, but you didn't reply. We called the other number you have at reception, and they hung up on us. The next day, around 9 AM, it started working again. The same thing happened on the fourth day. In total, we spent three nights without air conditioning, which is very uncomfortable. If the hotel were in the countryside, I might not have minded as much, but being on the ground floor of the main road, it was extremely hot with the windows closed, and impossible to sleep with them open due to the noise from the cars. If you know that the system has this problem, it would have made sense to keep an eye on it and restart the machine every day. It's also true that during the five days we stayed, we didn't see anyone from reception at any time, whether in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Best regards.

This hotel is perfectly situated just a short walk from Altea beach and right next to the train station. The rooms were charming, and the service was outstanding. I have nothing negative to say; we felt very comfortable.

We had a Amazing stay in Gran H la Marina. We recived a really hart warming welcome by the staff specially by Margarita , she explained us everything we needed to know and recomended us many nice places to visit , she was super kind and respectful doing a amazing job !!. The rooms were spotless and the aesthetic of the hotel was really Nice , good interior design whit a nice chill out area . Also next to the train station which Made our stay much better cause it was walking out of the hotel and step in the train to go wherever we wanted . Really recomeneded if you looking for a nice and cosy place to stay in the heart of Altea !

Victoria made our stay easy from start to finish, and everything was very straightforward. The location is right in the city center, next to the station. The building is beautiful and has preserved the essence of a typical old house. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The lobby area pleasantly surprised us; we could enjoy coffee, teas, and some sweets for free whenever we wanted. Upstairs, there is a lovely little patio where you can have a drink or smoke. We liked everything. Very good value for money.

We visited this hotel recently with my boyfriend for a romantic weekend getaway. I typically don’t write reviews however this hotels service was outstanding so there is definitely something to praise. Viktoriya, the owner was very welcoming and polite. The hotel was clean, cool and tidy. We got offered drinks upon arrival and in the lobby they had unlimited free of charge tea, coffee and beer. As well as small pastries to snack on and eat with afternoon tea. The rooms were cozy and clean. Their climate system was great and easy to regulate and they had additional soft, clean blankets to use if you got cold. The location was one of the best pasty’s about it, view of the old town from the bedroom window, you couldn’t hear any noise from the road or train station at all which surprised us. Very close to the beach and surrounded by tapas bars with local Spanish food. Altea is beautiful, we would definitely go again and book this hotel. Reasonable prices, worth it! Clean, safe and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place we will recommend to our friends and family.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. For us it was some much needed time away after a very very busy summer of work. We chose this hotel because we always look for small boutique hotels. I also like all things nice and the photos looked great 😂😉 What we liked about the hotel... It's close proximity to the beach & old town. The tram service into benidorm. The free local parking. The character of the hotel. The fact it's dog friendly... All bonuses for us 🐕 However there are things that I wish were better. The room was compact (not a massive problem) but the window in the ceiling allows light from the hallway. I do like a dark room to sleep. The fridge didn't get cold. We were in room 1, which was at the top of the stairs, just off reception. The hotel has been lovingly restored, retaining some beautiful tiles throughout. This does mean it is very noisy in the mornings. People dragging their suitcase(s) across the floor and down the stairs wakened me early in the morning. I'm not an early riser 😂 The TV service could also be better... It has limited television (all in Spanish) and considering the international guests they must have staying here, it would make sense to have some English channels? The room itself was spotless! However the bathroom had mold growing on the shower frame (under the sink) and it smelt very fusty. As I say there are some lovely aspects to this hotel. But for the price I do expect more...
