The hostel has a lot of charm and is tastefully decorated. The room was very clean and quiet. Its location is unbeatable, close to the waterfront and the historic center. The girl who runs it is also very nice.

We spent a few days at Bluesardine, and as always, it was wonderful. The hospitality, cleanliness, and tranquility are all top-notch, and that delightful scent is unforgettable. We just left and are already dreaming of our return.

October 2025 A real nice place, offering nice rooms just a street behind the boulevard and with the old town behind you. Perfect spot. Parking spaces (free) nearby. Clean, room big enough, good bathroom.

An incredible experience, both the room and the staff were very attentive and answered all our questions. The room was very clean and cozy, right next to the beach. We only booked one night to see Altea, but we already know that when we want to stay longer, we will return to this hotel without hesitation. You can leave your things earlier in a designated area they have, so you don't have to wait to check in and have your luggage in the car or with you while you go to eat. At the time of booking, they indicate a place with free hotel parking.

What a fabulous, romantic little hotel situated in the most perfect location in Altea. My partner and I stayed for 4 nights and just loved our stay. On arrival we were greeted by lovely staff who checked us in. We booked the deluxe double which came with a view of the seafront, which made opening the curtains each morning a treat! The bed was so comfy, shower was excellent and tv had all apps for winding down before bed. 10/10 recommend a stay here!

A relatively modern hotel with a 3-star standard. Very clean and with very friendly cleaning staff. The price per night at the end of September, around 130 euros, seemed relatively expensive for our room located on the ground floor directly on the main street. The door to the room was very difficult to open and close, and the shower door was also faulty.

We have nothing but great things to say about our three-night stay at the Blue Sardine. It was all about kindness, a wonderful willingness to help, and providing anything we needed. The location, right in front of the beach, was excellent, the room was very comfortable and practical, and even though it was on the ground floor with windows facing the busy de la Mar street, it was perfectly soundproofed, and we heard no noise with the windows closed. A huge thank you to Catalina for her attention, as well as to all her colleagues!

Absolutely beautiful place - so lovely and respectfully renovated. Really clean, bed was so comfortable, shower boiling hot. Staff were welcoming and polite. They even allowed us to change our stay as my husband had been ill so we delayed for a couple of days at no extra cost. Perfect location for everywhere

Stylish, comfortable stay in the heart of Altea Location Centrally located, close to the seafront and old town, yet easy to access. Ideal for exploring Altea on foot. Rooms & Comfort The rooms are modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Great bedding, thoughtful amenities, and tasteful decor throughout. Everything is well designed and well maintained. Facilities Each room is fully equipped, and the overall atmosphere is clean, calm, and curated. Note: rooms on the ground floor can be less peaceful due to occasional check-in/check-out noise. Staff The welcome was excellent — professional, friendly, and available when needed. Communication was smooth from start to finish. Overall A very well-run hostal with high standards and real attention to detail. Would definitely recommend, especially for a short, stylish stay in Altea.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is a lovely place with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We were so pleased when they upgraded our room to a lovely little apartment – modern, beautifully designed and just a short walk from the beach. The attention to detail was brilliant, especially the paintings on the walls which gave it a really nice touch. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!
