It was no coincidence that we ended up there; we chose it based on its Google rating and reviews, and honestly, it was a great decision. In fact, during our time there, we didn’t look for another place to have dinner. The food was homemade and excellent, especially the cecina croquettes, the spicy ear, and Felipe's homemade desserts... (we became addicted to the rice pudding, so much so that Felipe had no problem giving us the recipe), and I can't forget Antonio's Asian dishes, a delight, the best in all of Cartagena. A family atmosphere and I want to highlight the kindness and friendliness of all of them. Highly, highly recommended, and the price is in line with what is offered.

An incredible restaurant, with exquisite service from the moment you arrive, the waiter is friendly, polite, and very attentive. I highly recommend choosing wisely what to order to avoid overindulging. The michirones are spectacular, the best in the region and in Spain, the bonito with tomato is amazing, the scrambled eggs have an incredible flavor, the paella is a feast for the palate, and the homemade desserts are fantastic. Here, you not only get an amazing meal, but also a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes the experience simply fantastic.

While enjoying a beer at Timber, a spot in San Francisco Square in Cartagena, we were recommended to try Popo for some local Cartagena cuisine, the son of Juani. Without a reservation, we headed there on Friday, February 28th, around noon, and thanks to the friendly service (it was quite busy), we were seated with little wait. We had a tomato salad with marinated tuna; tuna mojama and roe with fried almonds; michirones; artichokes; and octopus Cartagena style. Everything was delicious; just one downside: the octopus was a bit overcooked and had a bitter taste. For dessert, we enjoyed a garrofa flan, which was delightful in both texture and flavor. To accompany our meal, we had a bottle of golden wine, which would have been splendid if it were a little colder. The rice from the daily menu that was being served to other tables looked scrumptious. We'll have to come back for that!
