After a week of intensive offshore sailing training on the Oriol Star, I want to express my satisfaction with the knowledge I gained, including the use of navigation instruments, sail trimming, safety, anchoring, and more. I REALLY enjoyed sailing with Luca Zaparolli on The Oriol Star. I sailed twice. I was a passenger both times but one time the cruise was for a navigation course and there were students. Luca was very professional 100% of the time. He is a great teacher/instructor and is very patient with everyone. Yourbestsail is THE best!

I took the one-week course with YOURBESTSAIL (Luca) and my opinion is highly positive. It met my expectations as it is very well structured, and the knowledge imparted is very useful for gaining confidence and expanding skills when it comes to steering your own boat or being a competent crew member. Luca knows what he is talking about and communicates it in a serious and well-founded manner, but also in an engaging way. On board the Oriol Star, you have the necessary tools to navigate safely (plotter, AIS, radar) on any crossing, and you learn to use them with ease. The small number of students (three in our case) also contributes to the positive experience.

I've taken two courses with Lucca: the harbor maneuvers course and the offshore course. Both were fantastic! In the harbor maneuvers course, there were only three of us (it has a maximum of four), so you're constantly practicing throughout the two days. That's a huge difference compared to other similar courses. Lucca's explanations and teaching style make everything seem easy. In just two days, I learned and practiced much more than I expected. The offshore course was spectacular, both in terms of learning and experience. Again, only three people—that says it all—you never stop practicing. I also want to highlight what a great host Lucca is, which is so important when you're on a boat for a week. The boat was spotless. I'll definitely be taking both courses again.
