Practically unusable as the beach is currently being prepared for the season. A lot of algee on the shore and in the water when we visited (mid June 2025). We stayed very briefly, and went back to Platja de Albufereta which is some 15min walk.

Playa de la Almadraba – Extremely Disappointing This beach was a complete letdown. I visited in the evening hoping for a peaceful walk by the sea, but what I found was shocking. The entire area smelled strongly like sewage, the water was murky, and there were large patches of what looked like sludge or waste scattered across the beach. It honestly felt like a spill or dumping site, and not at all like a place where you’d want to relax, swim, or enjoy the view. The smell was unbearable and completely ruined the experience. If you’re in Alicante, I strongly recommend avoiding Playa de la Almadraba. There are far better beaches in the area that are clean, well-maintained, and actually enjoyable.

Don't go here for a beach day, very simple, dirty, but industrial, nothing there. Not too bad for an evening walk but area seems a bit rough anyways.

This beach is small and peaceful. I prefer the ones at San Juan and Postiguet, but I do come here occasionally. The water is dirty over a good stretch of the beach, and there are many stones and rocks... You have to wade in quite a bit for it to cover you. However, there is also a nice playground for kids, a good chiringuito, and you can spend a relaxing day with family and friends.

This small beach is located between the Costa Blanca Yacht Club and Cabo de Las Huertas, making it ideal for a family day out. The sand is a bit coarse and, in my opinion, somewhat neglected, and the water quality isn't among the best. On the plus side, it's a beach with little wave action, and depending on the area, there are hardly any steps to enter. Recommended.

A great beach, especially for children, as it is very calm and has no waves. There are plenty of parking spots nearby, a ramp, a small restaurant with varied food options, and sun loungers. A small playground for kids is also ideal. Very peaceful for a relaxing time.

Could use more cleaning there are a lot of washed up algae. Lot of potential in it and supposably there's some newly allocated city funds to improve it.

Family-friendly beach. Calm easy swimming. The water is shallow for quite a ways out so kids can easily swim relatively far from shore. Very little big-wave action. The sand contains a lot of organics so it is a bit squishy walking, and if you dig to make sandcastles you get the occasional smell of sulfur.
