This is a beautiful place, quite busy even during winter, but that's because it's one of the most touristy areas in Alicante. I still recommend it. It's very close to the train station.

The Albufereta beach captivated me from the very first day. It’s just a 10-minute walk from the Albahía hotel, and every time I reached the sea, I felt like I was stepping into a peaceful and inviting corner. There are palm trees providing shade, where you can lie down without needing to bring an umbrella, making everything much more comfortable. The water is clean and warm, but it gets deep very quickly; after just a few steps, you can no longer touch the bottom. In some areas, there are large rocks underwater, and to be honest, I’m afraid of the depth and everything that might be down there. So, as soon as my foot touched a rock, I would swim away immediately. Still, the beach exudes a sense of calm and safety. The most interesting part is that the airport is to the right, and from the beach, you can see the planes taking off. The noise doesn’t bother you; on the contrary, it gives the feeling that the world keeps moving while you relax under a palm tree. Sometimes, I would just sit and watch them ascend into the sky. In the mornings, the beach is always very clean; you can tell it’s cleaned with machines, and the sand remains smooth and well-kept. Additionally, there are foot showers, which are very convenient after the sea. In summary, for me, Albufereta was a true discovery: a quiet, pleasant beach with an atmosphere that makes you want to return time and time again.

It’s not as crowded as the main Alicante beach and Playa San Juan. Less people, less noise. More palm trees and more calm vibes. The water however around end of August was very dirty from a lot of sand and algae. Probably something to do with the fact that the beach is so calm and almost has no waves. There are also no restaurants, beach bars and activities such as jet skiing or paddle boarding which is fine - it contributes to the calm atmosphere. Overall I would recommend that beach for people who just want to lay down, sunbathe or people who don’t plan on snorkeling as you can’t really see anything underwater.

A small beach, but very beautiful and tranquil. The water quickly becomes deep as soon as you step in, whereas at other beaches you have to walk quite far in to reach any depth.

This is a beautiful spot with a park, and the beach is very clean. Unlike the one in San Juan, it doesn't attract many visitors, which is probably why parking is limited. The park is nice, but I wish the shoreline wasn't covered in seaweed. Other than that, everything is great.

It's a small beach, but very peaceful and family-friendly. There are play areas for kids. It's quite central, and you can walk to it from the promenade in about an hour, maybe a little less. I went on a Sunday, and there was plenty of space to set up. I'm not sure if it will be the same during vacation season or if it will be more crowded.

A beautiful beach with delightful attendants. 27.00 Euros for two chairs and Umbrella. Drinks from the cafe 8.00 Euros each. Many ladies in black string bikinis showing their derrieres. A fun day in the sun and sand. Comfortable and safe.

Nice small cozy beach not so crowded in September… beach bar is great and affordable but no bathroom….
