Our winter home 25/26 for three months from 1 December to end of February. Superb friendly harbour staff who really makes you feel at home. You can receive parcels here, all marine services are top notch and available at an arms length. In winter, there is lively multinational liveaboard community and it’s one of the few Spanish towns on this coast radiating authenticity. Built by the Carthaginians in the 3rd century BC, this is a natural harbour which is well protected from the winter storms hitting mainly in February. Though bumpers for the lines are recommended as a little swell enters from the enthusiastic local fishers. Climate in the winter is mild with good hiking, culture and affordable culinary experiences all around. Services which are recommendable: sailmaker Casa Angel, Mistral Riggers and Ascar shipyard where we had Rocinante hauled out for the annual maintenance. The bathrooms at the main entrance need renovation: the floor paint is peeling. The black carts in the other bathrooms, those near the laundry, should be thrown away. At least the ones in the women's restrooms. The power goes out all the time, both at the docks and on the pier, causing various inconveniences. For what you pay, the value for money leaves a lot to be desired.

The Port of Cartagena is a must-see if you're in the area. It's very beautiful and worth it. Everything is very close, and taking a catamaran ride is an excellent opportunity while you're there. I recommend it.

This was our slip, this review is based on this slip - it cost $99.00 a night we were there 2 1/2 days 323.00 hoping to get some protection from a passing storm. Unfortunately our slip offered little protection, was very loud and there was a strong industrial odor There was no internet access here. Fuel dock - onsite Dog friendly - please remember to keep your dog on leash and clean up after them.

I've visited this port for the second time. The service and welcome are very effective and friendly. The port is a bit more expensive than the Real Club, but the moorings are quieter. The water in the port is usually very clean, but on the second day the smell was really, really bad. I think the treatment plant was malfunctioning. Cartagena is a beautiful city with a lot of history. To see everything that seems interesting, you should stay at least 3 days.

The best port in the Spain I would say.. just 5minutes walk from the port and you are in to the streets where it's like you get everything, the best suggestion is a group of friends going and enjoying the food and drinks anywhere among the street. Prices are very reasonable
