A disappointing coast. It's just rocky with no amenities... However, the water is very clear and there are fish. But I really regret choosing this vacation spot for this summer. I definitely won't be coming back.

La Azohía, located on the coast of Cartagena, is one of those hidden gems that seems tailor-made for unwinding and enjoying life at a leisurely pace. Its beach is simply stunning: spacious, peaceful, and with a very family-friendly atmosphere that encourages you to spend the entire day without a care in the world. The water is always clean and crystal clear, allowing you to see the seabed even several meters down, and most days it is so calm that it resembles a natural swimming pool, perfect for swimming or letting the kids play safely.

The beach itself is quite small, but the sea is beautiful. Very shallow, beautifully calm, and crystal clear. You also get lots of fish swimming around you, some of them can nibble on you though so be careful. 😅 Lots of parking behind as well.

Lovely with long beach mainly stones, looks to be a great place for scuba diving as we saw at least 10 boat loads of people coming and going in a couple of hours, plenty of places to eat along the sea front.

Pebbled beach, if that's your thing. Very pleasant views to sea and along the coast. Environment is spoiled by 100's of campervans parked up on prime, sea-view sites.
