We visited this beach with our children during the peak season in August. There were very few people there, and we soon found out why. The sea was full of jellyfish. This is very unpleasant. The sand on the beach is quite dark and hard on the surface.

It's a great place for walking and exercising. At the end of the promenade, there are wooden bridges that are spectacular for strolling, and then there's a wooden bridge over the sea that I love; you can take amazing photos there.

Nice view on Mar Minor and La Manga city. Comfortable to walk on the beach, only sand, no stones. Sea is shallow, perfect for children and sub. Very clean beach, every morning the group of workers clean it up. But there is no cabins on the beach to change your clothes and no showers, only small leg showers. Sunbeds and umbrellas are 4 euros per day. Some toilets down the long beach, no charge.

An incredible beach where your four-legged friends will have a great time with other dogs and in the sea water. The sand at this beach isn't as sticky as that of regular beaches, and in the water, it resembles mud more, which is almost better for the dog to run. It's not deep, and you can spend hours playing fetch with a stick or ball in the water without fear. The washing station is very convenient, and you can clean your dog after the tireless walk on the beach.

Really great conditions for kite (that's why we came there... constant wind, flat water, safety to the bay). Unfortunately this place is an ecological disaster... The sand on the beach is sticky mud, there is a suffocating smell in the air of septic tanks, dead fish (which can also be found on the beach), dirty water, a lot of trash. We felt very bad after an hour spent there (we don't know if it’s because of the smell the air and water was polluted). I’m writing this as a warning, we went to this spot for a few hours and we lost the whole day because the rest of the day we were sick. Why doesn't anyone take care of it? It would be a perfect bay for water sports

Perhaps because my stay was in winter and following the floods, the beach was in poor condition—dirty, with a rather unpleasant smell and little sand. However, based on comments from fellow reviewers, this seems to be a common issue. The place is very beautiful and helps me unwind, but we all need to take care of it.

The beaches are wide and clean, with good parking available. There’s a diverse mix of locals and tourists who live in the area or come for vacation. The beach bars offer average quality. You can wash your feet when leaving the beach towards the parking lot. Access is good.
