The beach has its own philosophy. It is a beautiful place that combines the sea, sand, air, sun, and people. If possible, there shouldn't be too many people, as they tend to spoil everything. The finer the sand, the better and softer it is, especially if it doesn't burn your feet when you go into the water. If we combine the sand, the sea, and the sun with a palm tree and a patch of grass to lie down in a hammock or on a sunbed, it would be a wonderful place.

This is a black sand beach with beautiful rocky areas perfect for snorkeling. You can park nearby and access is easy. It has foot showers, a shower, restrooms, a lifeguard, and beach bars. It was quite crowded, so it's advisable to arrive around 10 AM to secure a good spot and park closer.

There are two areas here. The first one, which is accessible by the road, is small and features a beach bar. It's quite lovely, with rocks and great sunset views, but the water had quite a bit of seaweed and seagull feathers. The second area requires you to turn off the road a bit further up. It's longer and more peaceful, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll.

This small beach features black volcanic sand and is sheltered from the winds, making it a great spot for relaxation. You can easily reach it by car via a nearby road that leads to a paved path, and there’s a parking area from which a pedestrian walkway begins, lined with several beach bars, viewpoints, and stairs leading down to the sand. Just a few meters away, there’s a small fishing port that is well-protected, taking advantage of the natural terrain.

A small, charming beach. The sand is chocolate-colored and the water is completely clear, making it easy to see the schools of fish. There is very limited parking available; we arrived in August around 10 AM and there were almost no free spots left. There are two beach bars, a lifeguard station, and restrooms. Highly recommended!

Lovely sheltered beach - been visiting this cove for a number of years, summer is always bustling and visited beginning of December and so quiet yet still beautiful - Parking is available close and another parking area slightly further away

I have given it 3 stars, but the place is beautiful and the view out to sea from the beach is fantastic. Nice chirangitos on the beach too. But it is hard to ever forget the terrible eco history of Portman. They say the water is safe, but is it? Although work is being done, a lot more money has to be spent to even start to right the wrongs of past decades.

One of my favourite places in Spain. Beautiful sheltered cove with black sand and beautiful clear water for swimming. Couple of really nice beach bars too. Parking can be problematic in summer months. Fabulous place.
