A nice museum to visit for a decent price. Lots to see and in English too. The audio guide (you connect on your phone) kept cutting off every couple of minutes for both of us. So I ended up giving up and just reading what was available as it was taking ages to keep loading the audio guide. The first building smells of cigarettes which was abit gross to be honest.

Really enjoyed it. Lots of model ships. History of submarines and how they have changed. Interesting section on life in submarines and on mines. Real submarine too. Free entry but donations are welcome. In two different buildings which are very close. Check opening times online as in the winter it's closed on Mondays.

A beautiful naval museum where we can discover the history of the navy, especially that of Cartagena. It features countless pieces from various times and types, including artillery, mines, medical equipment, uniforms, and much more. It's housed in an 18th-century building, and while entry is free, they do ask for a voluntary contribution (card only). There are restrooms and a shop. A visit is definitely worthwhile.

A museum with free entry, although you can make a donation of three euros. It is spacious, with a large collection of ship models, gear, instruments, and a wealth of information about the history of navigation. It is divided into two parts, as in another building is the area dedicated to Isaac Peral's submarine.

Well, let me tell you... I absolutely loved the Naval Museum of Cartagena. From the moment you step in, you can smell history (and not the boring kind), but the good kind, filled with ships, sailors, and things that make you go "wow". The building itself is impressive, almost like something out of a movie, and inside everything is very well maintained, clean, and with display cases that make you want to touch... but just a little.

It's definitely worth it; entry is free, although they do ask for a contribution, which I think is fair since maintaining this collection isn't cheap. There are a large number of models of line ships and frigates, as well as good pieces of artillery. The visit includes the submarine area where the first submarine in history is located. A must-visit.

We were very pleasantly surprised, and it was free (I don't know if that's always the case or if it was due to the Cartagena festivities). Very good organization and comprehensive. Definitely a highly recommended visit. It was great to see all the ship models, the flags, how they work, and then the entire submarine section. Really impressive and pleasantly surprising.

Very interesting place, give yourself enough time to get round all areas. We didn't as it was closing in 40 minutes so wii be returning. Please note that there is no entrance fee, amazing.

It is a pleasant place to visit. Entrance is free on weekends. One might have the opportunity to view various collections of naval ship models, spanning from the 16th century to the present day.
