It's a large market, but currently, there are more closed stalls than open ones. The remaining ones offer good quality products and are reasonably priced, but the selection is limited. It has restrooms and is accessible.

It hasn't had its own parking for over five years, and the renovations are never finished, so you have to look for parking at OEA, but it is very renovated and somewhat better. The stalls have been modernized throughout the market, and there is access for disabled people with two ramps at the main facade. You can eat fresh fish right there, prepared in the cafeteria at the back, and even enjoy the atmosphere while dining.

This is a traditional market, one of a kind. It's a special place that's unfortunately declining like many others due to the lack of awareness about buying quality food. The fish here is outstanding; they bring in fresh catches every day at fantastic prices, often half or even less than what you'd pay at the better markets in Madrid (like Maravillas or Ventas). We really don't know what we're missing out on! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED MARKET!!

A fantastic market in the heart of Cartagena! The Mercado de San Fiorentina is truly an experience. The variety of fresh fish, meats, vegetables, and fruits is impressive: you can find everything you could wish for here. The seasonal products, featuring local fruits and vegetables of excellent quality, are particularly noteworthy. In addition to shopping, you can also enjoy a coffee peacefully inside the market and take a little break. There are many more cafés and bars nearby where you can relax or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the city center. The market is very accessible by motorcycle or public transport. However, getting there by car can be tricky, as it’s hard to find parking nearby. If possible, it’s advisable to use other means of transport. A must-visit for those who appreciate good food and the authentic atmosphere of a traditional market!

Excellent quality, very friendly vendors. The olive specialist is 3rd generation vendor, extraordinary quality and service! He lets one sample everything before buying. Highest quality prices and service, right at the entrance. Highly recommended to anyone who is on the area and wants to either stock up on fresh produce, meats, cheeses and everything in between. Or to just buy lunch!
