Great tram / train service allowing you to explore the coast either side of Benidorm for a cost of 5 euro (1 adult + 1 child return!). We had a day in Altea and another day at Villajoyosa...Brilliant

Awesome station to take L9 to go to Benidorm - and back from Dénia to Benidorm, it comes every hour. There are no machines on the actual station so tickets can only be bought from inside the tram L9. Sadly the line L9 tram was having construction work now in March 2025 and needed to take bus from Benidorm bus station back to Alicante. But gladly the bus station is veeeery close to the Benidorm Intermodal so it was just like a few steps away to take Alsa bus. Traveling on the Costa Blanca is very nice and easy - thanks to the great transportation connections.

It is a useful link along the coast. It is reasonably priced and there are wonderful views as you travel along the coast. Although only one tram an hour it is well used and a very pleasant experience.

Have used it many times to travel in both directions from benidorm just be aware you can only pay with cash unless you have pre purchased tickets and the only payment machine is in the front carriage 🤭

The fact that half of the trams require you to transfer at the stop before Benidorm will make this stop increasingly less frequented by tourists, especially since there is zero surveillance and we have already seen shady-looking people in the area waiting for their prey, including a kid who grabbed a girl on a scooter and nearly threw her off.
