Positive remark: free entrance. And happy for that as it would not have been worth an entry fee. The collection is small and not too interesting. The exhibition of Soledad Sevilla was closed for unknown reasons. Staff seems uninterested at best but some are just unfriendly. Just keeping themselves busy with their mobile phones and occasionally shouting at visitors or neglecting them when they try to ask a question. Not too much explanation available. Half of the toilets were broken down and doors could not be locked.

First off it's FREE, and we all love free, and a great space for all the art, now to me art is a very personal thing as we don't all share the same values of emotion towards a given piece, so most of the works here are not for me personally some I can see something or I could be completely wrong, other items I just really don't get, even if it was explained I would have trouble, but that's not to say that many other would appreciate the art, so go and visit be your own judge and review the museum, it's totally free so it's not costing you anything but a little time, they do have restrooms on the basement level

I was recommended to visit the MACA Museum, and I must say I loved it. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my time in Alicante. We were also lucky enough to join a free guided tour, where the guide took us on a very enjoyable journey through the evolution of various Spanish artists from the 20th century. Her explanations greatly enriched the visit. The building itself is very beautiful, modern yet with a carefully preserved essence, and the artworks it houses have immense artistic and historical value. I left feeling like I had experienced a very enriching cultural experience, one that invites you to keep discovering similar museums in other corners of Spain. Another admirable aspect is that entry to the museum is free, which is greatly appreciated, especially in a time when everything tends to get more expensive. It’s a lovely way to democratize culture and make it accessible to everyone. In short, it’s a must-visit in Alicante, both for those who love contemporary art and for those who simply want to be surprised.

A very decent collection of contemporary art with a predominance of geometric abstraction. The architecture of the building masterfully plays with light and double spaces, creating an almost magical museum atmosphere. In the library, there is a lack of a more extensive section on abstract art. It is also disappointing that there is no small café with a view of the square and no shop with museum publications and souvenirs.

Wonderful space for art and inspiration, second floor very well designed and curated, each piece of art feels same size, floor and walls and ceiling melt into one ethereal floating background and each work talks much louder and sincerely… great work

Centrally located in the city, and on the day I visited it seemed quite popular around midday, with visitors from both a group of native Spaniards (especially in the library) and tourists from other countries. An interesting museum; worth a visit. Service: generally correct, except that one of the receptionists' stereotypical views were evident in her questioning (and perhaps her tone). Her tendency to judge a visitor's origin based solely on superficial appearance was apparent in her comment below, which was grammatically incorrect. It would have been better to simply write "Thank you so much for visiting us."

This is a spacious and comprehensive museum with free entry. I visited on a Saturday, and it was surprisingly quiet for a free admission day. At the time of my visit, there was a thorough exhibition of Juana Francés on the lower level of the museum. The upper floors featured some really interesting works. It's definitely worth a visit.

This museum is quite wonderful, and it's nice that entry is free. The art works are truly impressive. Since it's not very large, you can comfortably see everything in about 30-40 minutes.
