I've known Juan for over 30 years. He once operated on a dog my grandfather had and saved its life. Now we've formed a wonderful team. 10 days ago I said goodbye to my best life partner, my friend. It was a very difficult, tough, and painful decision. I don't know when I'll be able to get over it. But I need to write this, dedicated to all of you. To you, Begoña, for being with us those last heartbreaking minutes and trying to give comfort and support, even though it was impossible at the time. Your words remained, and as the days go by, I remember them. To Juan (son), for that little conversation we had where he also tried to encourage me, and to Juan (father), who, in addition to trying to make things seem less painful with his words, has always made things easier for me financially, offering alternatives if I needed them. And for all these years in which you have treated and cured him. I only have words of gratitude for having cared for my dad until his last breath and for having put up with my crying. We still see each other because we still have two dogs left to take care of, but I had to write these words to you.
