I recommend being informed about what you want, as many over-the-counter medications come in different sizes and brands, often pushing the more expensive ones. The surprise comes at the checkout.

I went on a holiday, Saturday, November 1st. I came out of the emergency room completely exhausted and went to them to get the medications with the emergency paper. A girl named María helped me. She was super friendly, caring, and very understanding, because the doctor hadn’t explained how to use the antibiotics in the emergency room, and she kindly explained everything to me with a smile, even though there were a lot of people in the store. But just as I waited when others were taking their turn, when it was my turn, she treated me like a queen and I left absolutely delighted. She even explained one of the medications that wasn’t covered by social security for pneumonia. From today on, they will have me as a customer, because the staff are very empathetic and pleasant. And they have a lot of patience. Thank you for everything, María. It was a pleasure meeting you. A hug 😊

I was told that I would receive an over-the-counter medication and that when the doctor prescribed it for me, I could come back without any issues to request the difference with the receipt. However, when I went to claim it, I was told that the receipt was not enough and that they hadn't said that to me… in an unpleasant manner and deceiving me.
