After spending all day in the emergency room with our 2-year-old, we came to this pharmacy for his medication and we couldn't be more grateful for the service, the efficiency, the management, and the treatment—truly competent and kind! The Alameda 33 pharmacy has friendly, solution-oriented professionals who are always ready to help you find what you need: medications, parapharmacy products, herbal remedies, homeopathy... If they don't have it, they try to find it in warehouses or from distributors. They are super efficient and committed to meeting our needs, and they are simply charming. For me, they are the best in Cartagena and the surrounding area; I would even say they are the best in the region. I have five pharmacies near my home, but I prefer to go to Alameda because they treat me with care and efficiency. Esther, the pharmacist, must be very proud of her team, which is incredible. Just today I had to endure the lack of empathy, reflexes, and professionalism of the clerk at this pharmacy. Social skills should be a mandatory subject in school, as so many people lack them, including this individual. He's just a salesman behind a counter. I understand that I still have a few days to wait before I can get my medication, although I wasn't aware of that. First, very rudely and in a very unpleasant tone, he said that the person on the ID wasn't the one who came to buy the medication. This is new, as my spouse has always had no problem going to other pharmacies with my ID. I don't usually go because I have reduced mobility, although this "gentleman" insisted that the patient has to go in person with their ID. My question is, what does this clerk do in cases of quadriplegic, bedridden, cancer patients, etc.? Does he tell them the same thing he told me, that I haven't done anything illegal and that my disability is justified? I would be ashamed to act that way, behaving with such rudeness, because making the patient come in person reflects very poorly on that salesperson, who, it seems to me, is just trying to cause trouble. However, based on what he said, he would be responsible for anything that might happen to the patient, since he's already been singled out because, according to him, the patient has to come in person. Let's keep watching to see how far he sinks. As far as I'm concerned, Alameda 33 is now on my list of places where I'm not welcome. Selling anything is acceptable to this clerk, and making unpleasant remarks is something he feels entitled to do, even though my spouse treated me politely, only to receive ineptitude and incompetence in return. I should mention that I'm a member of MUFACE, meaning I'm "on file" for any action deemed illegal. I have nothing to fear from my end.

The woman who helped me was incredibly kind and understanding. I arrived at the emergency room closing time for a specific medication that wasn't available elsewhere, and despite arriving right as they were closing, she didn't hesitate to help me and was very kind. Thank you so much for your kindness; I'm very grateful. It's wonderful to find people with such genuine dedication and care for others.
