Good evening, this morning, February 25th, I had an appointment for a colonoscopy. It was the first one I had, and of course, you always go with a bit of fear. Thanks to today's team, the doctor, anesthetist, and nurses, they made it very easy and straightforward for me, thank you very much. By the way, whoever is in charge could give the hospital a facelift.

The treatment and service are incredibly good and fast. I had an appointment at 10 for an X-ray, and then I needed to see the orthopedist. By 10:32, I was leaving the hospital with everything done. I used to live in the Valencian Community, and I've never experienced anything like this before. I'm very happy with the service and how quick everything was; it’s simply astonishing. Plus, the staff was very polite and friendly. A perfect 10.

On February 2, 2026, I underwent surgery for a retinal detachment. I want to highlight the kindness of the ophthalmology staff. The anesthetist calmed me down a lot and managed to get me to agree to the operation. My nervous state was blocking me, but her professionalism helped me relax, and the surgery was successfully performed. Thank you very much to all the ophthalmology staff, especially to that anesthetist who didn't give up and managed to convince me to have the surgery.

Incredible what happens there. When I went in person, the doctor told me to call in January to make an appointment because the schedule was closed. I called to request it, they asked me what the appointment was for, I explained, and then they told me that appointments couldn't be made over the phone. What’s going on? Why do they ask me the reason for the appointment, and why does the doctor tell me to call? It feels like the people answering the phone are not very eager to work or are uncomfortable in their positions. A very frustrating experience.

I went to Rossell at 9 PM because my father had broken his ankle, and in a room with 4 patients who arrived after us, it took 2 hours for us to be seen. The visit ended with my father in so much pain that he almost fainted without any attention. We only got out at 2 AM because I went to find a doctor who had my father's discharge papers in hand after an hour of attending to him and promising that he would get the discharge right away. This doctor was in an emergency room, talking and laughing with other doctors in empty hallways. An emergency section without a single doctor attending to patients and a room full of patients waiting to be seen. What happened today is shameful. I am from Cartagena, and since I was a child, whenever I had an emergency, I went to Rossell, but what happened today was pathetic and embarrassing.

Waited a few months to write this as my grandmother came here with cancer and other problems. My Spanish isn't the best and hers had failed her by this point but the staff at the hospital were nothing short of amazing. Even with the language barrier I couldn't have asked for more for her 🙏🏻

I have had a hip operation which I’d left too long and was in loads of pain but about four months of seeing the trauma consultant I had the operation which I was very worried about as I had an epidural but it was a doddle I’d have it again without hesitation. Surgeon was marvellous as all the surgical team were they worked so quickly I was in having the op before I knew it. Nursing staff amazing such service you press the button and unlike UK someone comes instantly! Really recommend this hospital and all its staff. As for language problems there were none I have only a few words of Spanish but they nearly all spoke English from the surgeon to the cleaners and if they didn’t out came their phones to communicate with me to let me know what they were doing or giving me. First class! Far better than I’ve seen or had in UK.

A lot of the staff in the hospital speak english but will not see you as they require you to have a translator which the cost can be between 50 to 100euros this is not a problem for some people but the majority of people can not afford it especially if return visits are required the hospital should have translator available to book at a reanable cost

Hell on Earth. Dante would have run screaming from this place. Was on holiday some years back, and my wife ended up here (slipped in a shower and broke two ribs). Rudest staff I have ever encountered, totally disinterested and unhelpful. Masses of them crowded at the entrance smoking rather than working. Utterly appalling. I was glad to get back home to Ireland when my holiday ended, and it's not often I say that.
