The rooms are in need of renovation, with issues like peeling paint and cracks. The staff is excellent—friendly and attentive. The restaurant is outstanding, offering delicious food at a great price.

I recently spent a weekend at this hotel, and I must say I'm very pleased with the service and attention provided by the staff, including the reception, restaurant, café, and buffet. The location is perfect, and I will definitely return. I do have one suggestion: it would be great to update the furniture in the rooms and modernize the bathrooms. Other than that, everything was satisfactory. A special thanks to the receptionists, Benito and Luis, for their friendly and professional service. I can confidently say I will return, and I highly recommend this place—100%!

After several delays with public transport, we finally arrived at the hotel. On holidays like Christmas, we were denied entry to our room because we arrived after the check-in time. Our room was already paid for and reserved. We filed a complaint, but they did not provide us with a copy. Warning to all those who rely on public transport: stay away.

A magnificent stay. The staff was charming and very professional. I left two valuable rings behind, and they sent them to my home in Madrid. I was kept informed about the shipping at all times. The hotel is very well located; the rooms are super clean and spacious, and in its restaurant, the food is divine, everything is very tasty. Great value for money. The restaurant staff was also very attentive. We will definitely return. Cartagena is a beautiful city with a lot of history, just like this hotel, which, as a curiosity, can be found on Google.

Stayed before, good hotel. Comfortable beds. Good wifi reception. Great location for bars and resy. 15 minutes walk to the port area. Railway and bus station 2mins. Staff all very helpful. Hotel bar clean and good value.

Hotel Los Habaneros is a good value for money stay if you prioritize location, convenience, and friendly service over luxury. It’s ideal for travellers who want a simple, clean, and centrally located base from which to explore Cartagena — especially if you plan to spend most time outside the hotel, sightseeing or walking around town.

A good hotel in terms of quality and price. I missed communication with the people responsible for group bookings. Other than that, it’s a decent hotel regarding quality/price. The double room was quite small. The bathroom could use some improvement. It was very hot on the upper floor.

Great value for money for half board, ideally located in walking distance to all the sights. Stayed in one of the non renovated rooms which was absolutely fine and spacious. Initially worried that bed seemed a bit firm but actually I slept very well after a long walk around the city. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options and the 3 course dinner was decent and saved us going out again after a day's sightseeing.
